According to sub-item 2.5-5.3 of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 229 dated July 26, 2021 citizen over 18 years of age can only use the services provided in public catering establishments, hotels and large shopping centers- indoors if they have the COVID-19 vaccine or an immune certificate.
The E-GOV Development Center (EGDC) of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has launched the “CheckApp” mobile application to test the COVID-19 vaccine or immunity certificate in the institutions and enterprises provided by the Cabinet of Ministers.
Through the application, a citizen's COVID-19 vaccine or immunity certificate is checked in one of the following 4 simple ways:
1. By scanning the QR code of the citizen's COVID-19 passport;
2. By searching for the citizen's PIN and year of birth;
3. By searching for the serial number of the citizen's ID card and citizen’s year of birth;
4. By searching by name, surname, patronymic and year of birth of the citizen.
It should be noted that inspecting the COVID-19 vaccine or immunity certificate by the QR code method is the most flexible method compared to others. Entering these facilities by submitting their QV code on their COVID-19 vaccine or immunity certificates citizens can save their time. This also prevents the formation of queues at these facilities.
Citizens are asked to download the latest version of the COVID-19 vaccine or immunity certificate through the e-government portal or mobile application "myGov", as well as the mobile application "e-Tabib” or its.gov.az portal.
